One day I hope to be the me that He sees
AGED
Hey!  Thats my band man!  Well o.k. it is me, myself and I playing
my guitar in My Living Room (MLRR recording studio.)

It began on a whim and continues as a whimsical fantasy.  Why
AGED?  Well, because that is what I am and those are the chords
that I play.  Well, I can play a few more now, but those are the
ones that I frequent the most.

I now have 28 songs that I have written and continue along this
musical journey for the fun of it.  I will be meeting with some
people who are interested in some of my music, but the joy is in
the creating and the singing for my Lord.  He is the one who gives
the inspiration in all that we do.  AND when I sing to Him it is
always in tune.  He said make a joyful noise . . . He didn't say
anything about singing on key or keeping time, so I am pretty sure
that he has a super mixer in heaven and what He hears when His
people sing is pure joy.
Writing Anyone?
The plan is to have my first novel out by Christmas . . . thats not leaving
much time, but it is the goal.  I have been working on "The Comforter" for
several years.  So far I've kept it under wraps and NO ONE but me has
read it yet.  I think that I am going to keep it that way until its debut . . .
pretty sneaky huh!

My poetry and prose are still near and dear to my heart.  I have submitted
some now to a few different outlets and we will see what happens.
Speaking on Speaking
My mom said that I started talking when I was 4 months old and I haven't
shut up since . . . there may be some truth to that, but I'll never tell!  What I
will tell though is that I have begun taking engagements to speak at events,
women's gatherings and special occasions.  I am looking forward to
sharing just what God has done in my life.  He has blessed me so much . .
. I just
have to tell somebody . . . everybody . . . anybody who will listen.

Off to Vegas for the Nevada
CARH conference . . . its
been a bit of work and I am
excited to see the final
product
My brother is supposed to be
here sometime in the next
few weeks.  I hope we get a
chance to hang out for a
while.  I miss him even if he
is a dork!  Hummmm I
wonder if he picked up an
accent?
I'm off to NASHVILLE to
speak with speak with (and
sing for) some producers,
agents and a band that is
interested in some of my
music.  I'm looking for some
venues to sing at here in
Elko so that I can get
"practiced up" for the big
date . . . I still haven't sung at
my church yet!
Back from Nashville and the
experience was AWESOME!
I was able to chat with
several different people and
get some good feedback.
I'm not a star yet, but I am the
apple of HIS eye and that is
all that matters.  I am
planning to continue my
journey and if some of my
music sells . . . it does, if it
doesn't I'll just keep on
singing!
I was contacted by a group
who would like to see my
lyrics and listen to me play.

Blood on My Hands

I passed a homeless man on the street
asking just for some to eat.
I didn't stop I had no time
I had my bible study on my mind.
His blood is on my hands.

A little girl lost and alone
shacked up with a boy she made her home.
I shook my head these "little kids"
but didn't shine light on what they did.
Their blood is on my hands.

A dear friend, laying dying in bed
delirious and out of her head
I said to myself I just can't
in her condition she couldn't understand.
Her blood is on my hands.

A little child asked about God.
He lives in heaven I say with a nod.
Ask your parents, I can't infringe
they should teach you about God and sin.
His blood is on my hands.

My boss is looking for a new age fix
astral planing and hocus pocus tricks.
But this is work, religion can=t be here
but if he comes to my church we will talk
there.
His blood is on my hands.

All because . . .

My Savior died He was crucified . . .
Sacrificed for me to share eternity . . .
His blood is on my hands.
